On the evening of March 30, 2017, Marvin Venson Webber, a 28-year-old male, was fatally shot on the 7300 block of Patterson Road in Columbia, South Carolina. The Richland County Coroner's Office confirmed that Webber died at the scene from a gunshot wound to his upper body. Investigators from the Columbia Police Department soon began to piece together the events that led to the deadly encounter, believing that Webber was killed while attempting to sell his vehicle to three men.
