Michael Eric McCraney, a 35-year-old resident of Laurens, South Carolina, was found dead in his home on November 5, 2017. According to reports, deputies responded to a call at 12:45 a.m. regarding a shooting at McCraney's residence on Colonial Acres Road. Upon arrival, they discovered McCraney lying in a pool of blood, having sustained two .410 shotgun blasts, one of which struck his neck and was determined to be the cause of death.
