On a summer evening, in the quiet setting of Martin Landing campground near Parma, Idaho, the life of Travis Haywood Calumpit, a 37-year-old Caucasian male, came to a tragic end. On July 12, 2024, he was found deceased from a gunshot wound at the scenic spot located at the confluence of the Snake and Boise rivers. What was meant to be a meeting of reconciliation with his estranged wife turned into a fatal encounter.
