Sidney Speaks, aged 43, was tragically killed on May 20, 2017, in Laurens, South Carolina. The incident occurred during a block party on Winetta Street, where more than 300 people were present. The party escalated into chaos, leading to a double shooting that claimed the lives of Sidney Speaks and 26-year-old Roydrecilious Irby. Both men were found with gunshot wounds and were transported to the hospital, where they later succumbed to their injuries.
