Michael Lewis Keaton, a 39-year-old tattoo artist from Gaston, South Carolina, was tragically shot to death on January 31, 2021. The incident occurred at the Lucky 7s Electric Tattoo Company on Platt Springs Road in West Columbia, South Carolina, around 12:30 a.m. Keaton had been working at the tattoo parlor since 2016 and was well-known in the community as both a tattoo artist and a musician who went by the name "Mic Grippa" on SoundCloud.
