In the late spring of 2021, the life of 18-year-old John Carlisle Kelly, a promising student from Columbia, South Carolina, was tragically cut short. Known to his friends and family as Carlisle, he was a senior at A.C. Flora High School, where he was an engaged member of the school community, participating in the International Baccalaureate program, and playing on the cross country and soccer teams.
