Prohibition Agent Charles Orbra Sterner, born in 1887, tragically lost his life on June 25, 1922, in St. Louis, Missouri. Agent Sterner was part of the Prohibition Unit, having joined on January 30, 1922. On the fateful day, he and local officers were conducting a search for moonshine at the Sharpshooters Park & Club near St. Louis.
