Derrick Eugene Joseph Ibe, aged 31, tragically passed away on January 1, 2022, in Saint Louis, Missouri. Derrick was found in the parking lot of a BP gas station near Bates Street and Virginia Avenue in the Carondelet neighborhood. He had been shot in the head, marking the first homicide in Saint Louis for the year 2022. Derrick was the son of David and Margaret Hall Williams and had attended school in the Webster Groves School District, where he formed many lasting friendships.
