On the afternoon of February 1, 2021, authorities in St. Louis County, Missouri, responded to a violent incident that claimed the life of 40-year-old Kevin McCanery. The African American male was in the city of Jennings, a suburb situated north of St. Louis, when the events unfolded near the 8700 block of Jennings Station Road.
