On the evening of Saturday, June 20, 2020, in White Plains, New York, 28-year-old Craig Saunders, a Black male, was fatally shot. The incident occurred at approximately 11 p.m. in the first-floor lobby of 33 Fisher Avenue. Police responded to reports of a shooting and discovered Saunders with a shotgun wound to his chest. Despite the efforts of first responders, he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
