Christopher Alexander Ridley, a 23-year-old off-duty police officer from Mount Vernon, New York, tragically lost his life on January 25, 2008, in White Plains, New York. Ridley was attempting to intervene in a fight between two homeless men near the intersection of Court Street and Martine Avenue.
