Death by Force

L. Douglas Abram, a Special Agent with the FBI, tragically lost his life on January 19, 1990, in St. Louis County, Missouri. On that fateful afternoon, Special Agent Abram and other members of the St. Louis SWAT team were executing a search warrant for weapons and drugs at a residence. As the team entered the house, they were met with gunfire from an occupant, James Price. In the ensuing exchange, Special Agent Abram was fatally shot, and the SWAT team returned fire, killing Price.
