On May 3, 2023, 37-year-old Jason Palmer was fatally shot outside The Gardens at Renaissance Place apartments in St. Louis, Missouri. Surveillance footage captured an argument between Palmer and 41-year-old J.B. Loggins III, during which Loggins shot Palmer in the neck. After Palmer fell to the ground, Loggins fired two additional shots, resulting in Palmer's death at the scene.
