In the early hours of a January morning in Saint Louis, Missouri, the life of 31-year-old William Ownes Jr. came to a violent end. On January 29, 2022, Ownes was involved in a robbery in the parking lot of a nightclub. During the commission of the crime, a security guard at the establishment witnessed the events unfolding and opened fire. Ownes was struck in the head by the guard's gunfire and died at the scene.
