On April 18, 2024, 29-year-old Cortez Jackson was fatally shot in a triple shooting incident in the Delmar Loop entertainment district of St. Louis, Missouri. Police responded to reports of gunfire shortly after 2 a.m. in the 6100 block of Delmar Boulevard, where they discovered Jackson deceased at the scene. Two women in their twenties, also injured in the shooting, were transported to a hospital and were expected to survive.
