In a tragic turn of events that shattered a community, 17-year-old Zachary Wade Sutton was found dead from gunshot wounds in a Clinton, Missouri home. His mother, 46-year-old Sandra Kay Sutton, was also discovered deceased at the scene, a victim of the same violent act. The devastating discovery was made by family members returning from work.

The primary suspect in the double homicide was quickly identified as 47-year-old James Barton Horn, Jr., Sandra Sutton's ex-boyfriend. The situation ...
