Christopher Ryan Morton, a 30-year-old police officer from Clinton, Missouri, tragically lost his life in the line of duty on March 6, 2018. Officer Morton and two other officers responded to a 911 call at approximately 9:20 p.m. The call taker heard screaming in the background, but the caller did not communicate further and hung up before officers arrived.
