In the early morning hours of August 13, 2025, a sense of unease lingered in the quiet neighborhood of 404 South Main Street in Clinton, Missouri. Inside the home of Thomas Couch, a male, a domestic dispute from the previous night had reportedly escalated, leaving a palpable tension in the air. The argument had been severe, with allegations of Thomas tearing up the house and threatening his wife, Angelika Couch, even placing a handgun in her mouth.
As dawn broke, the situation took a
tragic and irreversible turn. At approximately 6:34 a.m., Angelika Couch made a call to dispatch, a call that would forever alter the course of their lives. She informed the authorities that she had shot her husband.
