Phillip Degnan was tragically killed on December 4, 2017, in Kansas City, Missouri. The incident occurred outside the Benton Market, located at 1800 Benton. According to reports, Degnan was shot and killed following an argument with Victor D. Kelley, a 62-year-old Kansas City resident. Surveillance footage from the store captured the altercation, showing Kelley pulling out a handgun and shooting Degnan.
Following the shooting, Kelley walked away from the scene and disposed of the firearm
