LaShonda Myers, a 31-year-old resident of Kansas City, Missouri, tragically lost her life on January 24, 2018. On that evening, officers were dispatched to her residence at 2312 Monroe Ave. following reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, they found the front door open and LaShonda Myers lying deceased in the entryway from apparent gunshot wounds. Her juvenile child was also present inside the home at the time of the incident.
