Michael “Mike” Bullinger, a 60-year-old man, became the focus of a nationwide manhunt after he was last seen on June 11, 2017, in Moran, Wyoming. Bullinger, who had been living a double life, was a suspect in a horrifying triple homicide discovered in Caldwell, Idaho. On June 19, 2017, the decomposing bodies of three women—his wife Cheryl Baker, his girlfriend Nadja Medley, and Medley's 14-year-old daughter Payton—were found on Bullinger’s property.
Each had been shot execution-style, and their bodies were concealed in a shed. The discovery of these murders shocked both their families, who were unaware of each other’s existence, and law enforcement, who quickly issued a warrant for Bullinger’s arrest.
Bullinger was last seen in Utah, driving his wife’s vehicle, which was later found abandoned on July 12, 2017, in a remote area of Bridger-Teton National Forest near Moran, Wyoming. This discovery sparked an extensive search in the area, but despite the use of cadaver dogs and multiple search efforts, no physical evidence was found to suggest his whereabouts.
