• Christina Lee White
  • Age: 12
  • Disappearance Date: April 28, 1979
  • Location: Asotin, Washington
  • Details: Christina attended the Asotin County Fair and later visited a friend's house. She called her mother around 2:30 PM, feeling unwell due to the heat. Advised to rest and return home when feeling better, she was last seen between 7:00 and 10:00 PM on the 500 block of 2nd Street, riding her white ten-speed bicycle. Despite extensive searches, neither Christina nor her bicycle were ever found. Weeks later, her schoolwork was discovered scattered in a field outside Asotin.

  • Age: 22
  • Disappearance Date: June 26, 1981
  • Location: Between Moscow and Lewiston, Idaho
  • Details: A senior at the University of Idaho, Kristin was last seen cycling from Moscow to Lewiston along U.S. Highway 95. On July 4, 1981, her dismembered remains were discovered in black plastic bags along the Snake River, six miles west of Clarkston, Washington. Witnesses reported seeing a woman matching Kristin's description being approached by a man in a brown vehicle near Genesee, Idaho, on the day she vanished. Her blue ten-speed bicycle and personal belongings were never recovered.
• Kristina Diane Nelson
  • Age: 21
  • Disappearance Date: September 12, 1982
  • Location: Lewiston, Idaho
  • Details: Kristina and her stepsister, Jacqueline Miller, left Kristina's apartment to visit a grocery store but never returned. Both had connections to the Lewiston Civic Theater, where Kristina had previously worked as a janitor. Their remains were found on March 19, 1984, in a rural area near Kendrick, Idaho. Due to the condition of the remains, the exact cause of death couldn't be determined for Kristina.
• Jacqueline Ann "Brandy" Miller
  • Age: 18
  • Disappearance Date: September 12, 1982
  • Location: Lewiston, Idaho
  • Details: Alongside her stepsister Kristina Nelson, Brandy disappeared en route to a grocery store. Both were found deceased in 1984 near Kendrick, Idaho. Investigators determined that Brandy had been murdered, though specific details were not publicly disclosed.
• Steven R. Pearsall
  • Age: 35
  • Disappearance Date: September 12, 1982
  • Location: Lewiston, Idaho
  • Details: Steven, a janitor at the Lewiston Civic Theater, was last seen returning to the theater late at night to practice his clarinet and do laundry. His car, clarinet, and an uncashed paycheck were found undisturbed, but Steven was never seen again. Authorities believe he may have encountered foul play, possibly witnessing the murders of Kristina Nelson and Brandy Miller.

Investigation and Suspects

Over the years, several suspects have been considered:

• Ottis Toole: In 1984, serial killer Ottis Toole implicated himself in Kristin David's murder. However, inconsistencies in his confessions and his involvement in numerous false confessions led investigators to dismiss him as a viable suspect.
• Lewiston Civic Theater Employee: Authorities focused on an individual who worked at the theater and was present the night Kristina Nelson, Brandy Miller, and Steven Pearsall disappeared. This person also had a connection to the residence from which Christina White vanished in 1979. Despite circumstantial evidence, no charges have been filed.
