On a summer day in 1981, Kristin Noel David, a 22-year-old Caucasian female, embarked on a bicycle ride that would be her last. A senior at the University of Idaho with a bright future, studying for a double major in broadcast journalism and political science, she set out from her Moscow, Idaho, apartment on June 26th. Her destination was Lewiston, a challenging ride southward on Highway 95, where she planned to visit with friends and former professors.
