Tommie Lou Whiddon
On March 26, 1985, 19-year-old Tommie Lou Whiddon was sunbathing on Okaloosa Island when Walls attacked her. He slit her throat, leaving her to die on the beach. On September 16, 1986, 24-year-old Cynthia Sue Condra, a mother of three, was found brutally murdered. She had been stabbed 21 times and her body was left in a wooded area off Lewis Turner Boulevard. Walls later confessed to this heinous act, revealing the violent nature of his crimes.Audrey Gygi
Between late Tuesday, May 19, and early Wednesday, May 20, 1987, 47-year-old Audrey Gygi was stabbed to death in her trailer on Duval Street in Ocean City. Her residence was located just a block away from where Alger and Peterson would be killed later that summer. On July 22, 1987, Walls committed a double homicide that would lead to his initial arrest and conviction. He entered the trailer of 21-year-old Edward K. Alger Jr., an Eglin Air Force Base airman, and his 20-year-old girlfriend, Ann Peterson, on Jackson Street in Ocean City. Walls slashed Alger's throat and then shot him multiple times.
