Diane O'Dell, born in 1953 in Orwell Township, Pennsylvania, is an American woman convicted of murdering three of her newborn children. Over a span of several years, these infants' remains were discovered in various locations, leading to her arrest and subsequent conviction.Discovery of the Victims
In May 2003, the mummified remains of three infants were found in a storage shed in Safford, Arizona. O'Dell had rented and abandoned this shed years earlier. The infants were born between 1981 and 1984 in Sullivan County, New York. O'Dell claimed the babies died at birth and that she transported their bodies as she moved across the country. Additionally, in 1989, the remains of another infant, born in 1972, were found in a suitcase in a junked car in Kauneonga Lake, New York. However, O'Dell was not charged in connection with this death.Victims
