On the evening of August 17, 2022, a violent shooting incident occurred in the Ville neighborhood of St. Louis, Missouri, claiming the lives of two individuals. Police officers from the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department responded to a call at approximately 6:45 p.m. regarding a shooting near the intersection of Garfield Avenue and North Newstead Avenue.
