Matthew Gatson Jr., a 20-year-old resident of Kansas City, Missouri, tragically lost his life on December 11, 2022. The incident occurred in broad daylight while he was in a car with his fiancé, Rain Spriggs. The couple was returning from running errands for the holiday season when they were ambushed near the intersection of 63rd Street and 71 Highway.
