In the spring of 2014, the life of 21-year-old Terry Lavelle Hunter of Indianapolis was tragically cut short. On the evening of Friday, April 4, 2014, Hunter was fatally wounded in a shooting incident that also claimed the life of 19-year-old Romello Carney. The event, which took place in the northeast part of the city, was quickly identified by authorities as a double homicide.
