In the early morning hours of a December Sunday in Indianapolis, the life of 18-year-old Joseph Felker was tragically cut short. A Black male, Felker was discovered with gunshot wounds in the 600 block of Cottage Avenue on the city's near south side. The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department responded to a call about the shooting at approximately 4:25 a.m. on December 20, 2020.
