Mark Gilland, a 50-year-old resident of Eaton, Indiana, was tragically killed on January 11, 2014, in what authorities described as a landlord-tenant dispute. Gilland, who owned property on East Race Street, was attempting to evict a tenant when he was fatally shot inside a pole barn on the property.
