On November 16, 2021, the life of 18-year-old Javian K. Rhodes, a Black male from Indianapolis, Indiana, was tragically cut short in a violent incident on the city’s northeast side. Law enforcement officers were dispatched to the vicinity of Gardner Park following reports of a person down.
