On August 9, 2024, Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) responded to a report of a person shot in the 4700 block of Madison Avenue, on the south side of Indianapolis. Upon arrival, officers found 20-year-old Ezra Aubion Graham suffering from gunshot injuries. Despite the efforts of emergency medical personnel, Graham was pronounced dead at the scene.
