In the midst of a violent spring weekend in Indianapolis, 29-year-old Deshawn McKeller, a Black male, tragically lost his life. On May 20, 2018, his body was discovered in the 6800 block of Cedarstone Drive. His death was one of several that occurred during a particularly brutal weekend in the city, which saw at least ten separate shootings that resulted in multiple fatalities and injuries.
