In the summer of 2022, a family dispute in a quiet Camby, Indiana neighborhood escalated into a tragedy that claimed the life of 37-year-old Ashlee Atkins, a female resident of the community. On the evening of June 29th, police were dispatched to a home on Hosta Way following an incomplete 911 call in which a man claimed to have shot someone in self-defense.
