Death by Force

Dalton Collins, a 19-year-old male from Tennyson, Indiana, was fatally shot on March 22, 2025, in Evansville. The incident occurred outside the Parkview Housing Projects on Lodge Avenue. Collins was critically injured and was kept alive temporarily to facilitate organ donation before succumbing to his injuries at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital. The Vanderburgh County Coroner’s Office confirmed his identity but did not immediately release a cause of death, pending an autopsy.
