In Evansville, Indiana, a quiet Sunday evening in September of 2022 was shattered by a tragic event that resulted in the death of six-year-old Malachi Copeland. The young boy, a male, was at a residence on the 1800 block of South Garvin Street when emergency services were called to the scene. First responders discovered Malachi with a single gunshot wound to the head. He was rushed to a local hospital but succumbed to his injuries on September 4, 2022.
