On the evening of October 29, 2024, 17-year-old Emmanuel "Malachi" Young was fatally shot in Tepe Park, Evansville, Indiana. Officers responded to reports of gunfire around 10:30 p.m. and discovered Young with multiple gunshot wounds; he was pronounced dead at the scene.
