On February 27, 2023, 36-year-old Shawn A. Wildt of Evansville, Indiana, tragically lost his life in a shooting incident. Shawn and his brother, Chad Wildt, 42, responded to a motion alert from a trail camera at a family-owned property on Cypress Dale Road in southwestern Vanderburgh County.
