Jeffrey W. Kempf, a 56-year-old resident of Evansville, Indiana, tragically lost his life on the evening of May 11, 2018. Kempf, a skilled auto mechanic known for his kindness and willingness to help others, was fatally shot during a violent incident in his neighborhood. On that fateful night, Barry Freeman, a 51-year-old man, went on a shooting spree in the 2400 block of North Kentucky Avenue.
