Jonathan Stitts, a 37-year-old resident of Evansville, Indiana, was tragically shot and killed on October 1, 2021. The incident occurred at Stitts' apartment complex on Parrett Street. According to police reports, Stitts was shot multiple times by 17-year-old Samajui Barnes. Surveillance footage captured Barnes running out of Stitts' third-floor apartment while holding a handgun.
