In the spring of 2021, the life of 19-year-old Kielyn Toone was cut tragically short in Evansville, Indiana. On the evening of Saturday, April 17, Toone was fatally wounded by a gunshot to the head. The incident unfolded in a chaotic scene that stemmed from a birthday party in the 300 block of Taylor Avenue.

Following the shooting, law enforcement officers discovered Toone inside an SUV that had crashed through a fence and struck two houses in the 1400 and 1500 blocks of Judson Street. He ...
