In the late hours of a Friday in Linton, Indiana, a series of events unfolded that would end in the death of 48-year-old James Jarman. On February 28, 2014, law enforcement officers from the Indiana State Police, Linton Police Department, and the Greene County Sheriff's Department were dispatched to a residence on J Street, Southwest, following reports of a man threatening to harm himself.
