In the autumn of 2016, a promising young life was tragically cut short in Indianapolis. Juan Carlos Romero-Sanchez, a 16-year-old Hispanic male, was a student at Ben Davis High School where he was known for his academic achievements and his involvement in the JROTC program. Born in Puebla, Mexico, on September 12, 2000, he was a beloved son and brother.
