In the winter of 2022, the community of Hagerstown, Indiana, was shaken by the violent death of one of its own. and upon arrival, they confirmed that Pierce had been fatally shot.
Thomas, who resided in nearby Connersville, had been a part of the Hagerstown area for 13 years. Born in Opp, Alabama, he was a Navy veteran and a respected businessman, owning his own construction company. He was known as a hardworking family man.
