James Anderson, a 20-year-old resident of Gary, Indiana, tragically lost his life on March 18, 2014. According to reports, Anderson was shot in the early hours of the morning. Officers responded to a shooting in the 900 block of North County Line Road in Gary around 1:30 a.m. They encountered a vehicle transporting Anderson to the emergency room.
