as James Eugene Anderson, a 20-year-old Black male. First responders found him in a vehicle that was reportedly attempting to transport him to a medical facility. He was rushed to Methodist Northlake Hospital in hopes of saving his life. despite the emergency medical efforts, he succumbed to his injuries shortly after arrival. The Lake County Coroner’s Office pronounced him dead at 2:03 a.m., confirming that the cause of death was a gunshot wound.
