On a spring afternoon in Indianapolis, Indiana, what began as just another day ended in tragedy for Randall Terell Parker. The 32-year-old man was outside an apartment building on Rosewood Commons Way on April 24, 2014, when he was struck by multiple gunshots. First responders found Parker still alert and rushed him to IU Health Methodist Hospital in critical condition. Despite medical efforts, he succumbed to his injuries early the next morning.
