On the evening of February 28, 2025, a tragic event unfolded on the northwest side of Indianapolis that ended the life of 20-year-old Joshua Harris. An African American male, Harris was discovered inside a vehicle in the 5600 block of Georgetown Road, suffering from fatal gunshot wounds. The incident was reported around 9:42 p.m., prompting a response from the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department.
