In the summer of 2018, the life of 19-year-old Adonai Spinks, a Black male from Indianapolis, Indiana, was cut short by gunfire. On the evening of June 27th, Spinks was at a basketball court in an apartment complex in Lawrence, a community on the outskirts of Indianapolis. It is believed that he was intentionally lured to this location where he was then shot multiple times.
