Candice Hunter, a 24-year-old woman from Indianapolis, Indiana, tragically lost her life on August 10, 2014, in a domestic dispute that escalated into a fatal shooting. The incident occurred at the Hoover Park Condominiums on the north side of Indianapolis. Police were called to the scene around 1 a.m. after reports of a domestic disturbance. Upon arrival, they encountered Hunter and her boyfriend, Joshua Higgins, engaged in a heated argument at the entrance of the building.
