Luis Walker-Carrion, a 28-year-old resident of East Chicago, Indiana, tragically lost his life on August 24, 2014. His death was classified as a homicide by the Lake County coroner's office. Walker-Carrion was found shot in an alley near his home on Deodar Street and was pronounced dead at St. Catherine's Hospital at 5:11 a.m. on the same day. The incident was reportedly linked to a love triangle, which escalated into a fatal confrontation.
